Salesperson
- All agents with a Salesperson's License have an expiration/renewal date of June 30, 2010.
You will be responsible for renewing your license on-line (starting on May 1, 2010 at http://www.in.gov/pla).
- Agents with a Salesperson's License will need to have 6 Core/Mandatory AND 10 Elective credits by their expiration
date and pay a $35.00 renewal fee on-line. You would have needed to obtain continuing education between July 1, 2008 - June 30, 2010.
- If you were NEWLY LICENSED ON or AFTER July 1, 2009, you will NOT have to get continuing education credits for the June
2010 renewal but WILL have to pay the $35.00 renewal fee on-line to renew your license.
Broker
- Anyone with a Broker's license has an expiration/renewal date of June 30, 2011. Broker's must get their 16
continuing education credits between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2011 and pay a $60.00 fee online to renew.
(If you receive your Broker’s license ON or AFTER July 1, 2010, you will not need to get the
continuing education by June 30, 2011, BUT WILL have to pay the $60.00 renewal fee online).
NAR Code of Ethics
ALL agents with Salespersons licenses and Brokers licenses MUST take the NAR mandated Code of Ethics class every four years. The current four year compliance
window runs from January1, 2009 - December , 2012 .
